Graduated Samara State University with MS in Mathematics, Konstantin worked in leading technology companies before co-founding sMedex based on Samara and Aligned Research Group, headquartered in California, USA. Konstantin has more than ten years of hands-on experience in creating innovating, managing internationally distributed teams and business operations. At sMedex, the team has been concentrated on augmented reality, neuroinformatics, and artificial intelligence, primarily in healthcare in cooperation with Samara State Medical University, while at Aligned the focus has been on big data and data science. Konstantin is a co-author of multiple scientific publications.
Artem holds Ph.D. (candidate of science) in Computer Science, 2005 (“Color Image Reproduction Based on the Conforming Estimation”). He continued his scientific career in 2016 with Doctor of Science degree awarded in 2016 with his work “Foundations of color and multispectral image restoration on the base of the identification of bi-illuminant dichromatic model”.
Artem is an associate professor in Samara State Aerospace University. His research interest include image processing and pattern recognition, computational photography, machine learning, theory of high performance computations, and using GPGPU to solve computationally complex problems. Artem has more than 75 scientific publications.
After graduating with honors from Samara State Economic University with M.S. in Economics, she made a distinguished career in Samara City administration. In addition to leading economics department of one of the key city districts, Natalia co-organized multiple charity, cultural, youth, sports, environmental, and veterans events, and was instrumental to attract sponsors for these events among leading Samara companies. In 2006, Natalia left the city government to co-found a technology consulting company which she sold in 2012. In 2014, she co-founded another technology international consulting company and in 2015 became a founding member of True Positive conference, responsible for general organization, international contacts and media relations.
Yuriy holds M.S. in Computer Science from Samara State Aerospace University and MBA from Washington University, Saint Louis. A founder of Mercury Development, he moved to Silicon Valley in 2012 to pursue his passion of the technology. Yuriy leads Data Science and Security Research at Nominum, a company supplying DNS solutions processing a third of worldwide DNS traffic. Yuriy is active in establishing links between the US and Russia and VP of International Development of AmBAR (American Business Association of Russian Speaking Professionals), and advising Samara State Aerospace University and Samara State Medical University on international cooperation.
